Does PMR stop the Holy Spirit from moving

DEFINITELY NOT :D

Here's a lil personal RR testimony. On the night before PMR, ( or two nights before PMR ) the Holy Spirit was really moving me to give up some of my studying hours for others. I was moved to encourage those who're sitting for PMR. I really had a burden for those people who've not received Christ. I know most of us now, in school, rely on God for every single EXAM am I right?

Imagine others who feel insecured, who're they gonna turn to? So I told God, okay God I'll give up time for you. What'd you want me to do? I wanted to mass text everyone, but God told me to make encouragement notes instead. So I went on, making those notes from 7pm till 1am in the morning.

The next morning I had a lil headache, but I still kept on going and my parents weren't happy bout my whole idea of making notes instead of studying for PMR. I told 'em I've set my priorities like this. I'm a servant of God before a student. Even if it takes for me to get a B for my first paper, I will still go all out for God's work.

But during devotions that morning, I felt really discouraged, and 'what ifs' started popping out. "What if people dont appreciate the sacrifices I made, and my PMR papers failed me? " But I was still standing firm, knowing that it's God's will for me to encourage others.

(Romans 12:8 , Whoever has the gift of encouraging others should encourage.. )
True enough, God lifted me up by comfirmation. He told me, that I've not sacrificed my time in vain. He gave me a comfirmation that He's a faithful God, and we can hang on to the Promises, because He only declares what is right, and He speaks the through. I didnt have to search for these verses, He gave me a direct hit on the face!

Isaiah 45:19

19 I have not spoken in secret,
from somewhere in a land of darkness;
I have not said to Jacob's descendants,
'Seek me in vain.'
I, the LORD, speak the truth;
I declare what is right.

Isaiah 49:4

I have laboured to no purpose, I have spent my strength in vain and for nothing. Yet what is due to me is in the Lord's hands. And my reward is with my God.
GOD ENCOURAGED ME IN RETURN. He ensured me bout the time I've spent for others, the time I've set apart for Him, the time I've spend to study, as I've put as much effort as I can in working my best in everything, He told me that all these, it's all in His Hands. What is there to worry bout? We don't have to worry, because the fruits of our labour is in His hands!

I was filled with joy, knowing that my God is with me, forever and always.

So I'd like to encourage you Revolutionarist, sometimes it might be tough serving God in certain circumstances, feeling like you've lost something.

Keep in mind that,

Luke 17:33
Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.
If it's by God's will, it's okay to lose something for God's sake. It's okay to sacrifice something that means alot to you. We're just passer bys, keep in mind that our true home is in heaven :)

YOU DONT HAVE to WORRY BOUT THE SACRIFICES YOU'VE MADE CAUSE YOUR REWARD IS WITH GOD. It may seem a lil stupid to keep sacrificing for others but that's just one of the Devil's lies to stop you from going. Never let God's work STOP just because of some examinations, we're not called to serve on special ocassions, we're called to serve in all circumstances. If you're willing God might make this a platform for you impact the lifes of others, as WELL AS YOURSELVES :D

The outcome of my lil encouragement project was awesome! Managed to laminate lots and lots of notes, gave 'em all out. God was working mightily through me, all I had to do was to obey and sacrifice. So If God's calling to do the same, GO ALL OUT FOR IT! ;D As you try to impact the lives of others, your life will be impacted in a way or another.

:)

May God be with you, and not to worry, you have not strained your eyes in vain also.

Jesus loves you!
